THE END OF OBAMACARE

During the last week we have heard how Obama lied about the ACA and with each passing day it seems more untruths about the law are being exposed. This seems to be a common occurrence from this White House and its minions who mislead, deceive and prevaricate at every opportunity. Suffice it to say the administration, the Democrat Party and some others have willfully perpetrated fraud against the American people with the intent to do harm.

 

The ACA was always destined for failure because it was built upon lies. From the secret negotiations in Congress, up to and including the disastrous rollout the administration has obfuscated to hide the truth from the American people. They knew in 2010 people would lose their health plan, choice of doctors and hospitals, but apparently were arrogant enough to think they could get away with willfully deceiving everyone, but as Jesus said:

“For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.

(Luke 8:17)

 

Though I have tried to maintain composure, there have been times I have screamed at the TV while watching those who have tried to defend the indefensible. There is no defense for a lie and neither is there any reasonable explanation for that which is meant to destroy another and, in this case, our American way of life. Now, without health insurance, some may not be able to purchase their life saving medications. So, how do you defend something which could ultimately cause someone’s death? Then again, it is these same people who think the unborn are an expendable inconvenience.

 I try to live each day remembering my Lord’s command to love everyone but, I must admit, I have been having great difficulty in doing so. As someone who seeks the Lord in all things, I did in this as well and asked the Lord to give me insight as to what is occurring and how I should look at and respond to this troubling situation. This day, as I was praying one of the Lord’s parables came to mind:

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:  and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

(Matt 7: 24-27 NKJV)

 

There is no better example of this than of our own nation which was founded upon God’s Truth and whose principles are based upon His Word. It was only when the secular Progressives began to insert themselves into our political discourse did the storm clouds gather, the winds blow and rain fall shaking the foundation of all which we have held sacred and honored throughout our history.

Most people, including the heathen, are taught lying is wrong and, as every believer knows, a lie is considered sin throughout the Bible. Therefore, when we see someone like the president or HHS secretary who repeat lies even though they have been proven false, one cannot help but wonder about the character and the agenda of the person who utters it. Lies are evil and, as Jesus told us, Satan is their source.  

“He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”

                                                              (John 8:44)                    

Only when something is built upon the Rock of God’s Truth will it continue to stand. This is Obamacare’s problem; built on a foundation of lies it is already falling apart for various reasons. Therefore, I believe and have, for some time, the ACA will be taken down, one way or the other. Though the ACA was upheld by the Supreme Court, a higher more perfect law is already at work and God’s law, which is Truth, will stand forever.

No doubt many will differ with my assessment and have good earthly reasons for doing so, but since my foundation is Truth I will stand my ground and upon God’s Word. The world may not be able to do anything about Obamacare but with, in and through His people by the power of His Holy Spirit our God can change, defund and repeal this or any earthly law. God’s power is great, His love is sure and His mercy is everlasting. Let us keep the faith and believe and trust God what we are seeing is the end of Obamacare.

And it will be said in that day:
“Behold, this is our God;
We have waited for Him, and He will save us.
This is the Lord;
We have waited for Him;
We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.”

(Isaiah 25:9)
